Social/Interpersonal

The third learning strength I discovered about myself is social/interpersonal. I got a bit surprised when I found this out because I didn't think that I was a very social person. But I guess I learn new things about myself more then I thought. I do like to develop ideas and learn from other people. The five leaning style traits that best describe me is that I am able to appreciate different points of view, I work well with others in team setting: cooperative learning, I learn through a person to person interaction, I am able to empathize quite easily with others; sensitive to other people's feelings, and I am able to draw others into discussion. The three assignment choices that i would like to try is reading a dialogue or a play with other people, setting up interview questions and interviewing your family, and writing down the interview, and doing team learning/investigating projects.

Musical/Rhythmic

The second learning strength I discovered was musical/rhythmic. I love music. I love to sing and play different types of instruments. Sometimes I make up songs about a certain subject because it is usually easier for me to memorize.  The five leaning style traits that best describe me is that I love musical and rhythmic patterns, I am able to memorize song lyrics and ballads, I respond to changes in tones, sounds, accents, speech patterns, I tend to be sensitive to sounds in environment, and I can often reproduce melody or rhythmic pattern after hearing it only once. he three assignment choices that I would like to try is create a poem with an emphasis on certain sounds for pronunciation, work with words that sound like what they mean (onomatopoeia). For example: sizzle, cuckoo, smash, and use music as background while reviewing and for helping to remember new material.

Body/Kinesthetic

The first learning strength I discovered about myself is body/kinesthetic. I wasn't too surprised because I like to move around a lot. I love sports and I play a lot of different sports. I use my body and sense of touch to learn about the world around me. The five leaning style traits that best describe me is I enjoy physical movement, I enjoy demonstrating, I get easily bored if not actively involved, communicated well through body language, and keen sense of body awareness. The three assignment choices that I would like to try is use magnetic letters, letter blocks, or letters on index cards to spell words, change the place where you write and use different kinds of tools to write, ie., typewriter, computer, blackboard, or large pieces of paper, and write on a mirror with lipstick or soap.
